Born into three generations of chefs, Jonathan Penright attended the Culinary Institute of LeNôtre where he quickly excelled at his craft. He spent time in Vendee, France as an apprentice and assumed the role of Executive Chef at Bay Oaks Country Club shortly after his return to the United States. Along this journey, he discovered a love for orchestrating fabulous private dinners in the greater Houston, TX region perfecting the unique experience of in-home fine dining.
Chef Penright's cooking style combines classic French cuisine with an intuitive flair that entices all of the senses. He often pairs sweet & spicy elements in unexpected places while layering the meal in stages. He revels in the culinary trinity of soil, kitchen, & table experience via procurement of fresh and organic goods from local urban Houston farms with the goal of merging health, flavor, taste, texture, and wellness with the latest culinary trends.
